Bomber Seniors, Chris Crouch, Eli Dixon, Hunter Hedden, Dyson Henderson , Cohen Westfall, Logan Metzger, Carter Ogborn, and Donnie Sellers went out on their Senior Night game vs now 6-3 Logansport on top with a Overtime Victory 36-35. Bombers controlled the game all night long with 23 First Downs and double time of possession, however a couple tough breaks turning the ball over kept Logansport in the game where the Bombers dug deep and finished with Vicotry. Rensselaer got up 7-0 with Landon Musch TD Run, made it 7-0. Late into the 2 quarter, Bombers driving again inside the 15 yard and a miscommunication had the ball ont he ground which was recoverd by Logansport, who went on to drive the ball length of the field and tie the game 7-7 with 3 to go in the 1st Half. Bombers got the ball right back and marched it stright down the field and Westfall connected with Sellers on a 27 yard TD Pass, kick was good and into Halftime 14-7. Bombers got the ball to start the 2nd and went on 8 min drive and punched it in with a Logan Metzger TD plunge Yallay kick was good for 21-7. Bombers Defens who was outstanding all night then went back to work and forced an immediate 3 and out to force a Punt. Rensselaer then started to drive again before an unfortunate play went against the home team where forward progress was not called and Logansport ripped the ball out and ran it back to the 2 yard line where they were tackled. Logansport scores on 1st play to make it 21-14. Bombers get the ball back and do what they did all night long and punched it right on the field again with another Logan Metzger TD plunge to make it 28-14. Logansport answred with 4 mins to go and scored to make it 28-21, where they lined up for an onside kick, and recovered it and scored a few plays later to tie the game at 28-28. In OT, Logansport got the ball first, scored and kicked PAT, Bombers got the ball, scored on a Musch TD run, and offense stayed on the field and Westfall hit Musch on a 2 pt conversion pass and score to walk off the Berries 36-35. Logan Metzger: 32 carries for 147 yard and 2 touchdowns Landon Musch 27 carreis for 150 yards and 2 touch downs John Yallay 4-4 PATs and monster 56 yard punt in the 4th quarter his only Punt of the night. Mezger had 8 tackles on defense and Eli Dixon had a sack. Bombers are finish regular season 7-2 and will travel round 1 sectional vs Boone Grove
