BOMBERS BRING BACK THE CRACKER BARRELL IN OVERTIME THRILLER

Fans were treated to an outstanding High School Football game at Emory Harrison Athletic complex as the host Bombers knocked off county rival KV by the score of 28-21 in Overtime. Bombers started the game with the ball and went 3 and out, then KV marched down the field and the defense held strong and kept KV out of the end zone but their FG attempt was good to make it 3-0. Bombers then punted the ball on 2nd possesion back to KV but the defense stepped up again with a Landon Musch Interception returned for 25 yards and the Bombers first score of the season and the beginning of the new LIGHT SHOW at the field !!! Bombers after another defensive step went on a drive capped off by an Landon Musch 56 yard touchdown run to make the score 14-3 at the Half. KV recieved the ball to start the 2nd half, 8 min drive and a touchdown to make it 14-10, the Bombers then went on their own 8 min drive to push the lead back to 21-10 with a Logan Metzger 1 yard td plunge. KV was done yet, as another long drive netted a touchdown and 2 pt conversion to make the score 21-18 with just about 2 mins to go in the game. The ensuing Onside kick was perfectly exucted by KV and they retained the ball, moved it down and made a 38 yard FG to tie the game. Bombers then got the ball back and was able to move it down the field on 2 chunk pass plays, 1 to Landon Musch for 30 yards and 15 yard catch by Carter Ogborn. Bombers lied up with 10 secs to go for their own FG Attempt, but KV was able to block it and send it to OT. In Overtrime, Bombers got the ball 1st, and on their 2nd play hit Landon Musch on a 7 yard TD pass and Catch from Cohen Westfall. Bombers defense then held on for 4 plays to seal the game and the victory. Landon Musch had 3 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown and 2 catches for 40 yards and a touchdown. Cohen Westfall was 3-5 for 70 yards Carter Ogborn rushed for 108 grueling yards on the night setting up touchdown score for Logan Metzger. Metzger paced the defense with 18 tackles. Bombers are 1-0 and will travel to North Newton
