Bombers Fall to Central Catholic 17 to 15 at Home Monday Night.

The Bombers could not hold onto the lead against the visiting Knights Monday night at home despite leading by 4 runs a one point. The Bombers were led offensively by Ryan Kellner who was 4 for 4 on the night including a double and solo homerun while driving in 4 runs. The Bombers were able to flip the lead in their favor in the bottom of the 2nd inning on a Brayson Johns grand slam. Brayson drove in 5 runs on the night. Contributing offensively for the Bombers were Landon Musch with 3 hits and 2 runs batted in, Cayden Webb with 2 hits including a double, Dillan Simmons with 2 hits and 3 runs batted in, and Dawson Cain and Dalton Lynch each had a hit. Overall the Bombers collected 14 hits on the night with Dillan Simmons stealing 2 bases. Braedy Martin and Dawson Cain both pitched well for the Bombers only allowing 8 earned runs on the night and while striking out 7 Knights.
