Bombers spent over 3 hours traveling down to Bicknell Indiana, about an hour south of Terre Haute and took on North Knox high school on their Homecoming night and came away with a solid 33-14 victory. The Warriors started the game with a very long 6 min drive and was able to methodically matriculate down the field to score the games first touchdown on a 2 yard plunge, the PAT snap was bad, however North Knox executed a nice fire play to get the 2 point conversion to go up 8-0. Bombers responded on their 1st drive and scored on a Landen Musch short yardage touchdown, however the 2 point try was no good. Bombers got the ball the 2nd time and also marched it down and got a touchdown from Joshua Johns for 3 yards, 2 point conversion also not good, so that remained the score 12-8 at the half after turning the ball over on downs late in the 2nd quarter inside the 3 yard line. Bombers came out on all cylinders and popped a long Td run by Luke Belden for 37 yards out, John Yallaly PAT was good. Bombers got another touchdown by Belden in the 3rd followed by the final touchdown coming from Musch from 2 yards out, all PAT were good by Yallaly to get the final score 33-14. Bombers did unfortunately have 2 offensive miscues in the 2nd half nullify potential scoring drives when the ball was on the ground inside the 40 on two separate occasions. Bombers crushing ground attack accounted for 55 carries and 355 yards while Beck Drone had a nice night going 6-11 for 56 yards having a long completion called back in the 1st half on a penalty. Musch paced the Bombers with 185 all purpose yards (3 catches 48 yards) with 28 carries 137 and 2 touchdowns. Luke Belden had his best night on offensive side of the ball with a nice 114 yards, 9.5 yards per carry and 2 touchdowns on this 12 touches from the back field. Defensively, after the 1st drive Bombers dominated by getting multiple 3 and outs in the 2nd quarter and 3rd quarters. Defense did give a long touchdown pass late in the 4th quarter for Warriors final and game's final score. Bombers are excited to welcome the visiting Frontier Falcons the annual Homecoming Game at Emory Harrison Athletic Complex.
