Bomber Golfers put their best showing of the year Friday at Sectionals in Logonsprots Dykeman Park, shooting a season low 322 and lowest team score from the 2020s decade but was not enough to punch their team ticket to Regional. Logansport won on their home course with a 303, Twin Lakes 316, and Pioneer finished 3rd with 318. Beck Drone fired a team leading 77, which put him in a 3 way tie from players from Caston and Rochester. Beck on 1st playoff hole was able to advance with a tap in Bogie, which is what he played for when Caston had issues getting to the green and was in for a Double Bogie already. Beck will compete in his 2nd Regional this Thursday at Sandy Pines. Carson Drone 78, Levi Knoth 78 both shot career best rounds in 18 holes and had an outstanding day. Jackson Geleott finished his 4 year career with his best outing ever as a Bomber with a 89, and Freshman Merrick Drone competing in his first sectional fired a kickout of 90.
