Bomber Golfers fire 177, lost on tie breaker to Andrean, beat North Newton, South Newton

Bombers in their final tune up before the annual Dr. E.R. Beaver Rensselaer Invitational on Saturday May 9th: came away with a good effort 177. That score was good enough to tie Andrean, however the 5th man score was the difference on breaking the tie. Bombers did however have another medalist performance from Junior Beck Drone, who fired a tremendous 39 after a tough luck opening hole triple bogey, Drone was 5 over after 4 holes, then Beck Birdied par 5 Hole 6 and backed that up with a sweet Birdie on 7, playing a tough windy par 3. From there, had a solid finish of Par Par to earn another Medalist honors for him on the season. Levi Knoth shot another solid 43, with a Birdie on Hole 1. Next in was Carson Drone 46, Merrick Drone 49, and kickout of 54 from Jackson Geleott In the JV match, Bombers shot a 206 which was 11 strokes better than North Newton's next 5 players. Good efforts from Noah Forrestal with a 48 and Parker Johns with his 2nd straight sub 50 performance of 48. Ty Cochran was in with a 52, Mason Ames 57, Jacob Rodibaugh and Jagger Wuetrich 58's Mason Ames and Ian Harris 65. Curtis Creek is the place to be on Saturday morning with a Shotgun start of 8:30 am for the Annual Dr. E.R. Beaver RCHS Invitational, with 17 teams across Indiana coming to town. Restaurant open with Biscuit and Gravy breakfast available along with Lunch Options as well.
