Bomber Golfers open season with W at tough Palmira Golf Course

After the Bombers home and season opener was washed out on Wednesday, they took the road Friday night and came away with an impressive 178 to 183 victory over Hanover Central at WINDY and WET Palmira Golf Course in St. John. JR Beck Drone, coming off his Sophomore Regional qualifying campaign, fired a 3 over 38, including Birdies on 8 and 9 for Match Medalist. Cousin SOPH Carson Drone was runner up medalist with a fine 42. SR Jackson Geleott opened is final season with a solid 45, two first timer varsity lineup guys Jr Noah Forrestall shot a 53 and Freshman Merrick Drone was kickout score of 54. Rest of the Bombers keeping for the night was Levi Knoth 48, Ty Cochran 53 and Jacob Rodibaugh 58, Jagger Wuetrich, Mason Ames , Parker Johns, and Ian Harris all competed as well, but due to darkness they were not able to finish their official score cards missing out on 2 holes. Bombers will be action Saturday at the Twin Lakes Invitational
