What an incredible day for the Lady Bombers Swimming & Diving team! The team delivered numerous outstanding performances and proudly secured 4th place at the Hoosier Conference Swimming & Diving Championships. Aubrey Geleott was absolutely unstoppable, smashing two school records in the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Breaststroke – and on top of that, she set a brand-new Hoosier Conference record in the 100 Breaststroke! Aubrey’s time of 24.69 shattered a 50 Freestyle record that had stood since 2002, previously held by Keely McIlwain. Her 100 Breaststroke time of 1:06.18 not only broke her own school record from 2024 but also captured the Hoosier Conference record set in 2023 by Teegan Madara of Hamilton Heights. Aubrey’s efforts earned her All-Conference honors in both events – truly a standout performance! The excitement didn’t stop there! Braelyn Jones earned All-Conference Honorable Mention with impressive 2nd place finishes in both the 200 Freestyle and the 500 Freestyle. The 400 Freestyle Relay Team (Annie Parrish, Quinn Chapman, Braelynn Jones, Aubrey Geleott) also earned All-Conference Honorable Mention with a strong 2nd place finish. The entire team competed with heart and determination, with nearly every swimmer achieving a personal record or season best time. What a fantastic day for the Lady Bombers!
