The Lady Bombers had four athletes compete at the IHSAA Regional at Plymouth High School. As a team, the Bombers finished 16th out of 52 team. Each wrestler battled hard for an opportunity to advance to the IHSAA State Finals. Lizzie Sterk and Bella Aponte were eliminated after hard-fought first-round matches. Kenzie Martin displayed grit and determination by upsetting her first-round opponent before narrowly missing a state qualification with an overtime loss in the second round. Stacia Crabtree claimed the Regional Championship in the 190-pound weight class and will represent the Bombers at the IHSAA State Finals on Friday, January 16, at the Corteva Coliseum in Indianapolis. She enters the state meet looking to build on last year’s fifth-place finish.
